Order Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, it is best to do it as soon as possible. This is because the restaurant or store may have started to prepare your order, or already assigned a courier to deliver it.

For delivery and collection orders, head to the order details page, where you will see the option to cancel your order under 'Can we help with anything?'

Will I be charged for canceling my order?

If you cancel your order, you may be charged an amount up to the full order value. It is best to cancel an order as soon as possible to avoid any charges.

To get a full refund, you must cancel before the restaurant accepts your order.

Once the restaurant or store accepts your order, a full refund will not be available to you as the restaurant has already begun to make your food.

  • To get a full refund, you need to cancel within a few minutes of placing the order. Most restaurants accept delivery orders very quickly.
  • If the restaurant cancels your order for any reason, you will get a full refund.
  • If your order is taking longer to arrive than Yummi Eat has estimated, you can get a refund. Check the order's estimated arrival time in the app, and if you have not gotten your order by that time, you can initiate a refund

 

If you cancel after the order has been started, you could get a partial refund.

Partial refunds can be given up until the delivery driver picks up your food. You will not be able to get your full payment back, but some fees will be refunded to you if you get a partial refund.

  • If you are offered a partial refund, the Yummi Eat app will outline what will be refunded to you and what will not.
